PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BMS solution of IET can manage up to 30 lithium battery elements connected in series. It manages LiFePo as well Lithium polymer like NMC, LTO and others. The control interface of the BMS operates at low voltage, at the service battery level (12 or 24V) and is completely insulated from the lithium cells (1900Vrms insulation barrier). The estimation of the SOC and SOH has an accuracy higher than 5%.

It integrates a CAP CHARGER and the control line for the main contactor (not provided), 8 inputs for temperature sensors and 2 lines for the interlock function in the main connector.

The BMS protect each single lithium element from any possible abuse, or by overvoltage, under voltage, overcurrent, overtemperature. Self diagnostics capable, it provides a CAN port also for share information with the powertrain, the dashboard or a battery cluster manager. Through an embedded RTC and a big size non volatile memory, it logs any abuse event and trace the complete story of the pack.

It performs a passive balancing with a maximum of 800mA of balancing current for each channel.
