Integrated Electric Transmission (IET™) is an extremely compact, high performance mechatronic propulsion unit that emulates the feeling and performance of a traditional internal combustion engine, with a specially developed electric motor, clutch and gear shift, and software that enables electric vehicles to accelerate hard from the line up to a high top speed, something that is just not possible to achieve with a single-ratio electric motorcycle.

Before IET™, the electric engine had no gear shifts. IET™ technology is the solution that takes electric power trains to the next level, making it equal in autonomy and performance to traditional combustion engines. Not only does IET™ offer all the advantages of the traditional electric engine – no pollution, cheap “fuel”, high torque at low rpm, no noise – but it transforms the disadvantages of the traditional electric engine into advantages – the “un-motorcycle-like feeling” the rider has when driving a vehicle without gears has now been replaced by a genuine motorcycle feeling, recharging time of the batteries has been greatly reduced, incredible performance both in low and in high rpm, very competitive purchase price for the vehicle, but mostly, because of the very efficient energy use that IET™ makes of the batteries, the autonomy of the EVs has enormously increased, also allowing an important reduction in cost of the batteries.
